The report provides detailed information on how to interpret the data.
We have also provided resources on our website that will aid you in interpreting
your results and developing an action plan. Once you understand the data

your action plan on a regular basis. Make sure you involve your
manager/manager to gain buy-in to your actions.
Why are there so many reports?
The Edge 360 report provides you with several different reports in an
effort to aid you in interpreting and understanding your results. By providing
specialized reports, it provides you an overall picture for the tasks
as well as proving you detailed question by question results. The
data provided in this report will help you measure your current progress
as a leader and provide a benchmark for comparison as you continue your
development.
I had four peers (or other rating group) complete the
assessment, however, the rating of peers is not on the importance ranking
report. Why?
Sometimes a participant will submit their questionnaire and will not complete
the importance section of the assessment. In order to have a ranking
in this section for a rating group, more than half of the raters from
that group must complete this section of the assessment. Therefore,
if you had four peers complete the assessment, three or more of the peers
must have completed the importance section for a rating to be reflected.
For direct reports, peers and customers at least two raters must have
completed the assessment.
I had a peer and a customer complete the assessment,
but their results are not reflected in the item detail/frequency report.
Why aren't their results included?
Their results are included, but they are not identified as a rating group.
With the exception of the self rating and the manager rating, a rating
group must have more than one individual complete the assessment to be
detailed in the item detail report. If you only have one person
in a rating group (peer, direct report, customer), their rating is included
in the average others and average all results but are not detailed out
under their rater group. This is done to ensure the anonymity of
the peer, direct report and customer responses.
In the Gap Analysis Report, it shows that one rater group
rated me significantly lower than the others on several tasks. Should
I consider that data?
Yes, you should consider all the results that were submitted. If
it appears that one rater group was being significantly hard on you when
they were completing the assessment, further analysis of the results may
be necessary. You should look at the Item Detail / Frequency Distribution
Report for those task areas. What questions did that rater group
rate you low on? Did some of the individuals from other rater groups also
rate you low on those items? It may your manager that rated you
significantly low, but when you look at the Item detail / Frequency Distribution
report, you may see that there were others from the direct report, peer
or customer groups also rated you low. By looking at the specific
questions for that task, you may be able to see a pattern as to why that
rater group rated you low.
